Ongoing Education Offerings:

Inquiry 501, a.k.a.“The Catechumenal Proces” - Information and discussion about spiritual formation, history of Christianity, history of the Episcopal Church, history of St. John’s, the Bible, the life of Christ, the BCP, the sacraments, tools and tips for living a life of faith.  Course is centered on adult spiritual formation and is for those who would like to explore their faith journeys, renew their Baptismal Vows, be Baptized, Confirmed, and Received from another denomination, and/or Reaffirmed.  Margie Watkins, Catechist. Gathers in Cobb Library, Sunday evenings from 5 to 7 pm. (childcare available).

Newcomer Orientations are offered regularly in October, January, March, May, June and August. Dates will be listed in the Chimes and on the church calendar.

Cursillo - The purpose of Cursillo is to help those in the church understand their individual callings to be Christian Leaders. The leadership may be exercised in work situations, in the family and social life, in leisure activities, and within the Church environment. Leadership, in Cursillo, does not mean power over others, but influence on others; all of us need to be aware that we can exert a positive influence on those around us. For more information, visit our Cursillo site.

Daughters of the King -The Daughters of the King is an Order for women in the Episcopal Church with Chapters in the Roman Catholic Church and in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Daughters are dedicated to prayer and service For Christ's Sake.
