Altar Flower Delivery

Monday Flower Delivery

Teams of two deliver flowers from the Sunday services. Pre-arranged flowers, are picked up at the church on Monday mornings and delivered to shut-ins, the sick, and those in hospitals and care facilities.

Poinsettia and Easter Lily Delivery

This ministry helps share the Christmas and Easter services with homebound parishioners, the sick and those in hospitals and care facilities. Flowers are delivered on the following Monday with service bulletins, Chimes and message from the Rector.

Angel Ministry

Angel Ministry is a way for St. John’s to carry the love of Christ beyond our church walls by providing help (in the form of tasty food prepared and delivered by parishioners) to our members who may have a new baby, be recuperating from an illness, or experiencing bereavement. Volunteers are always needed to help prepare these meals (which are kept in the church freezer) or deliver them.

Parish Visitors

The mission of Parish Visitors is to extend the goodwill and spirit of St. John’s through contact and visitation to those parishoners unable to attend church services, and to help the clergy maintain open lines of communication with these important members of the parish. Please notify the church office when parishoners are in need.

Stephen Ministry

This program equips lay persons to provide Christian one-on-one care for those in our parish and our community who are experiencing all kinds of life needs or difficult circumstances. Stephen Ministers are committed Christians who receive 50 hours of training in caring ministry skills and concepts. Those receiving care can be sure that their identity and what goes on in the caring relationship will remain private.
