Seven Hills Guitar Series - Flamenco Virtuoso Grisha Goryachev

      Grisha will be playing Flamenco compositions by modern and traditional maestros, each with different colors of beauty, intensity, stretching the guitar to express all of its capable emotions.   From delicate harmonics that wittingly ends a playful Garrotin, to fiery rasguedos that accompanies the fastest of Bulerias, to delicate tremolos in Granadina, the audience can expect an unbelievable display of musicality, artistry, and technical virtuosity.  Grisha will present the music of Vicente Amigo, Ernesto Lecuona, Mario Escudero, Manolo Sanlúcar, Rafael Riqueni, and Paco de Lucía. 

 

Organ Recital and Choral Evensong

St. John's is bringing in Organ Recitalist, James Holyer. Holyer is the Director of Music at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, FL. He received his bachelor's degree in music and English from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN.

The second half of the concert will feature some beautiful repertoire sung by the St. John's Episcopal Choristers and Adult Choirs. The concert will feature music by the composer Samuel Sebastian Wesley.

You do not want to miss this afternoon of amazing music!
