COMPASS ROSE COMMISSION
The Compass Rose Commission is an outreach ministry that supports St. John’s companion parish, San Pedro Apóstol, in Zorrilla, Cuba. The Commission encourages parishioners to participate in mission trips, to collect supplies to send with our missionaries, and to pray for our missionaries and our companion parishioners.
Recently, the Cuba mission trips organized by the Commission have included the installation of Living Waters for the World water filtration systems both at San Pedro Apóstol in Zorrilla and at Cristo Rey in Cuatro Esquinas. The priest in charge of our companion church, Fr. Carlos Tamayo, lives with his family in Cuatro Esquinas.
