Habitat for Humanity |
St. John's has been involved in this world-wide effort to build homes for low-income families for over 14 years. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat constructs and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner-partner families. St. John's has teamed up with other Episcopal churches, a Rotary Club, Hunt Insurance and All-American Ford. Habitat is not a give-away program; houses are sold to partner families at no profit. Visit www.habitat.org for more information on this world-wide organization. |
