Find Some Peace and Choir: A Candlelit Service to Soothe Your Soul
St. John's offers a service of Compline during the Academic year on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. in the candlelit church. Compline, led by clergy and an all-male choir, is an ancient monastic worship service offered to God before bedtime. It is a brief (about 30 minutes), meditative mix of Scripture, prayers, and sublime music.

The St. John’s Compline Choir of Men
Membership in the Compline Choir is by audition. Auditions for new members are held twice annually in August and January. If you would like to audition at this time, please contact the director at the email address below.
Occasionally new members are added at other times of the year when there are openings for Countertenor, Tenor, or Bass singers. A candidate should have experience as a choral musician and demonstrate his ability to sing and to blend with the choir. The candidate must be willing to devote Sunday evenings to singing the service and make it a high priority. If you have an interest in becoming a member of the choir, please contact Mike Norris, Compline Choir director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
