Faith comes alive through our actions. Following in Jesus’ humble footsteps, St. John’s members serve food at the Kearney Center for people without homes, volunteer at Grace Mission — a congregation of the poor and vulnerable that meets across from the Governor’s Mansion — tutor students at Riley Elementary School in Tallahassee’s poorest zip code, care for prisoners at Wakulla Correctional, and put their gifts to work at countless ministries inside the church’s walls. We are also a founding member of the Capital Area Justice Ministry, a cooperative effort by local congregations to stand united against injustice and dismantle systems that are the source of poverty, racism, suffering, and violence.

At St. John’s, we believe that Christian love is a verb, not a noun. We invite you to learn about the many ways you can join our parishioners by getting involved at St. John’s, in our community and around the world — seeking to make God’s love real through our daily actions.
