Blessing of the Animals

Our pets are a blessing! If you agree, bring your furry, scaly and feathered friends to St. John’s annual Blessing of the Animals. We will gather at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 3, in Discovery Field at Cascades Park to honor all creatures great and small. Bring your pet, leashed or crated. If you’re not comfortable bringing a pet, we’ll bless a photo or stuffed animal instead! The entire Tallahassee community is invited.

Note: St. John’s is working with our parish COVID-19 Task Force to ensure this safe outdoor gathering will allow for plenty of social distancing – for people and pets.

Help Needed! Our Parish Life Receptions Committee is seeking volunteers to help with setup and breakdown, greeting guest, coordinating pet supplies, and providing water bottles for human attendees. Click HERE to sign up!
