B.E.A.N. Week: Being Extraordinary Around Nashville

July 5 - July 13

Get ready to Be Extraordinary Around Nashville this summer! We will team up the youth of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Chapel for a week of service and fun in Music City from July 5th-13th.

WHO: This trip is open to rising 8th through 12th graders.

WHAT: We will work with East Nashville Hope Exchange’s summer literacy camp during the mornings and explore some of the history and culture of the city in the afternoons and evenings. ENHE started as a mission of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in 2010 and is now it’s own nonprofit serving families with a commitment to the truth that literacy is a justice issue. Other opportunities will include visiting the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library, the National Museum of African American Music, Thistle Farms, and more!

OVERALL COST: The expected overall cost for the trip is $200. However, scholarships are available and we are happy to work together to find an amount that is reasonable for your family. We can also help you develop an individual fundraising plan.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Your participant fee includes travel, all meals, lodging, and cultural activities.

NEXT STEPS: Submit your non-refundable deposit of $50 and a completed Youth Mission or Chaperone Information Form. Registration will be open until July 1, 2025 (or until our team is full).
