Lenten Quiet Day w/ the Rev. Kathy Walker

March 19, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but I tell you, seventy-seven times.” – Matthew 18:21

Throughout Jesus’ ministry, there were two values he most emphasized: love and forgiveness. These two words feel big and heavy to so many. On Saturday, March 19, join us for a Lenten Quiet Day with the Rev. Kathleen Walker, when we will use the writings of Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu to focus on forgiveness. We will talk about how to name the hurt you’ve experienced, ask for forgiveness, and how to forgive yourself during this season of Lent.

This event will be held in a hybrid format. Rev. Kathy will join us virtually. Participants are welcome to do the same, or attend in person at St. John’s.
