The Garden of Gethsemane is where Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him the night before his crucifixion. At St. John’s we follow that command with a vigil on Maundy Thursday, coordinated by the St. John’s Order of Daughters of the King. Once again this year, the Gethsemane Watch will start in Carter Chapel just after the 7:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday service. It ends at noon on Good Friday.
Please click below to sign up for the hour of your choosing so we can ensure there is someone praying throughout the night during our Gethsemane Watch. If the time slot you prefer is already filled, please know you are most welcome to to pray alongside of those already signed up.
Security will remain on the premises.
