The 2020 St. John’s Market is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our leadership feels we can not safely gather the number of individuals needed to hold an event of this magnitude indoors or outdoors. While we considered an online event, we felt it was better to skip a year and hold a bigger, better Market in 2021, when we hope to gather as one church community.
We invite you to share your “Market Memories” and share photos and stories that we can use in parish communications. Wouldn’t everyone love to know how Sam Solomon got into the hot sauce biz, or how John and Teresa Dean came up with their Chicken Pilau recipe? Has anyone had a pie recipe flop on the eve of Market or stayed up all night making cookies? Please send your memories to Lizbeth Childs (firstname.lastname@example.org) by October 30.
