Taking a break from the constant barrage of information overload can be surprisingly soul affirming. At this Sunday morning “Coffee Talk,” Joe McCann, Jr., will discuss the benefits of participating in a silent retreat at one of the many monasteries within driving distance.
Joe will also discuss how the monastic traditions of the desert fathers and mothers helped shape Christianity in a way that is especially relevant today. Join us as we reflect on taking a break from all the noise and living behind the walls of a monastery, if only for a weekend.
