The Rev. Leslie Roraback, our Associate Rector, is known as Mother Leslie. She is a life-long Episcopalian and a native of North Carolina, though born on a military base in Okinawa, Japan. Leslie devoted many years to lay leadership, liturgy planning, and diocesan work; and eventually answered God’s call to the priesthood following lengthy careers in Non-profit healthcare and theatre administration. Mother Leslie comes to us from St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound Episcopal Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. Prior to that, during her time as a student at Virginia Theological Seminary, Leslie served for two years as the Seminarian at Washington National Cathedral. She also recently completed a graduate certificate in Servant Leadership from Gonzaga University.
Leslie has three wonderful children. In her off-time, she enjoys rest and creativity in baking, reading, movies, music, and theatre. She also loves to explore with her English Springer Spaniel, Bridget.
