November 15, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Have you ever wondered why Tallahassee was chosen as Florida’s capital? Or why the downtown streets were laid out the way they are? Or what indigenous people were living here when Tallahassee-Leon County was founded 200 years ago? Author Doug Alderson will answer these questions and more about our capital city’s early history.

The presentation will be followed by a Q & A., and lunch. While SALT stands for “Senior Adults Living Triumphantly,” ALL ages are welcome to join us.

Or contact Deborah Dugger in the church office for assistance. Please RSVP by November 13. A $9/person donation is appreciated to cover luncheon costs. Coffee will be served in Alfriend Hall beginning at 10:30 AM. Our program begins at 11 AM in Killeen Hall, and lunch follows the presentation.
