The Eve of the Feast of the Epiphany – Service and Pageant

Epiphany, celebrated 12 days after Christmas, is when Christians remember the Wise Men who visited Jesus and broke the news to the world that the King of Kings had come for everyone!
At 5:30 PM on Monday, January 5, come celebrate the Eve of the Feast of the Epiphany with a special Service of Holy Eucharist. Fr. Lonnie will give a short homily and “bless the chalk,” a new Epiphany tradition at St. John’s. Worshippers will also get to hear the Christmas story once more during our Epiphany Pageant, told by the children of St. John’s. After the service, all are invited to Alfriend Hall for a spaghetti dinner.

Dinner is spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread. Suggested donation: $5 kids; $8 adults or $25/family max (accepted on site).
