Acolyte Training in the Church

Calling all 5th – 12th graders! Are you curious about what it’s like to serve in church, carry a torch, or lead a big procession? Then come be an acolyte—one of the youngest leaders in worship at St. John’s! Acolytes help make Sunday mornings special, and it’s a great way to learn something new, be part of a team, and have fun along the way.

Training is Sunday, August 24 at 12 PM in the church—whether you’re brand new or already know the ropes. You’ll learn how to carry torches, hold banners, and serve up front during worship. Our older acolytes will show you everything you need to know—and yes, lunch is included!
