Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship.
Join us on Saturday, January 28, for a workshop to learn more and begin your Centering Prayer Practice! A light lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend. However, we do ask that participants register in advance for our space and food planning purposes.
This workshop is presented by The Front Porch: a Spiritual Life Center. The Front Porch welcomes people along all paths who seek to deepen their spiritual lives. We offer contemplative practices, events, and classes rooted in Christian spirituality.
