Prayers & Bell Ringing – 20th Anniversary of 9/11

On Saturday, September 11, St. John’s will tolls its bells to remember all those whose lives were lost on 9/11.

As we mark the 20th anniversary of this horrific event, parishioners and members of the Tallahassee community are invited into the sanctuary for quiet prayer. Prayer sheets will be provided for individual reflection. The church will be open from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.

Bells will toll at 8:46, 9:03, 9:37, and 10:03 AM, allowing us to pause for a moment at the times of the four points of impact on September 11, 2001. After the tolling, Amazing Grace will be played by our Tower Bell Guild.
