Capital Area Justice Ministry – Nehemiah Action

The entire Tallahassee community is invited to attend the Capital Area Justice Ministry’s Nehemiah Action event on Tuesday, April 5.

The event begins 6:30 PM (sign-in begins at 5:45 PM) and will be held indoors at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center (2344 Lake Bradford Rd, 32310)

What is CAJM?
An interfaith ministry (501c3) of 19 congregations (and growing) in our Capital Area.

How Did it Start?

• The seeds were planted in 2019 by a group of local clergy. In fall 2020, and the first half of 2021, the inaugural congregations formed core teams.
• The congregation’s core teams engaged in study and fellowship, listened to one another, and engaged around a centering question: “What keeps you up at night?” This set our course to the April 5th Nehemiah Action.

What will Happen at the Nehemiah Action?
We Will Bring 3 Justice Action Items

• Reduce Gun Violence
• Increase Civil Citations
• Establish a New Affordable Housing Trust Fund
