Choral Evensong & Dinner for All Ages

February 28 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged at this service which features a unique opportunity to see The Saint John’s Bible up close as well as scripture and music that emphasize the importance of learning! Led by the choristers of the choir school (ages 8-18), this brief evening service will highlight the leadership of the youngest ones in our faith community. Stay for fellowship and a dinner of Macaroni & Cheese, BBQ chicken and broccoli!

At 5:30 PM,  join our guest speaker, Tim Ternes in the Compass Rose to learn more about the beautiful illuminations in The Saint John’s Bible. As it will be the feast day for Anna Julia Haywood Cooper, a writer, teacher, and activist who championed education for African Americans and women, we’re going to focus on the love of learning and how that leads us all to wisdom!

Then at 5:45 PM, we’ll begin Choral Evensong, celebrating music, scripture, and the love God has for all his creation.

We’ll finish in Alfriend Hall with delicious food and fellowship. All are welcome!
