Communion in the Garden
We have expanded our Communion in the Garden time on Christmas Eve.
Individuals and families are invited to visit Eve’s Garden to receive Holy Communion (Bread only) from the Reserved Sacrament, and enjoy a few moments of prayer and conversation with a clergy person. This time in the garden, which will be festively greened for Christmas, will be offered from 9-11:00 a.m. and from 2-3:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. No signup is necessary.
Quiet prayer time in the church will be permitted during the morning Communion in the Garden hours. However, the church interior will be unavailable during the afternoon Communion in the Garden hours to allow time for properly sanitizing the church between services. Instead, we invite you to share in a family photo outdoors with our decorated fountain as a backdrop. We will have a photographer on hand to capture these memories. Additionally, our tower bells will play festive tunes throughout the afternoon as you pass through the garden and receive communion.
