Coffee Talk: Why and how should I read the Bible? (Growing in Grace)

March 7, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Why and how should I read the Bible? How should we read and interpret scripture? This class will feature The Rev. Dr. Rebecca A. Wright, Professor of Old Testament at The School of Theology at Sewanee.

This is the disciple who is testifying to these things and has written them…But there are also many other things that Jesus did; if every one of them were written down, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written (John 21:24-25).

This Coffee Talk is part of Growing in Grace, a course for adults on the basics of the Christian faith. We invite you to view the FULL SCHEDULE of classes (January 24 – April 11, 2021)and learn more about how Growing in Grace prepares you for baptism, confirmation, reception, or reaffirmation at St. John’s
