The Great Vigil of Easter, the most profound liturgy of the church year, is about waiting in anticipation of Christ’s resurrection. This special service begins in Eve’s Garden. The congregation then processes into the sanctuary together, where Holy Baptism is celebrated. The congregation renews their Baptismal Covenant and together all celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter. Trumpet music will be featured.
Our guest preacher for the Triduum, which includes the Easter Vigil, will be the Rev. John Coleman.
This service will be livestreamed – visit our ONLINE WORSHIP page.
Please Note: Incense will be used at this service. Childcare will also be offered for this special evening service.
A festive reception follows the service in Alfriend Hall. All are welcome to attend.
