If stress has you anxious, tense and worried, consider meditation. Spending even a few minutes a day in meditation and contemplation can restore a sense of calm, peace, and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health.
Coordinator Johanna Rucker follows the prayer of the World Community for Christian Meditation as a framework for the meditation experience. The group also engages in book studies and Lectio Divina. Group members bring background in Centering Prayer, transcendental meditation, dreamwork, breathing, and open heart meditation.
