The Good Funeral: How to Plan

Why are Episcopal funerals held in the church? Why are altar arrangements the only flowers in the church at a St. John’s funeral?
Join Fr. Lonnie and the St. John’s Foundation to learn the answers to those questions and to hear all about the theology of a funeral at St. John’s – what choices, decisions, and support one will encounter as they make plans.
This presentation – on Thursday, May 11, at 5:30 PM in Killeen Hall – is for all ages and stages. Fr. Lonnie will run through everything you need to know, and we’ll distribute a booklet that features helpful forms for planning funerals at St. John’s, including scripture and hymns that can be selected for use at funeral services.
The best time to learn about planning a funeral is before you are called to do so. Join us!
