Christian Hospitality: Summer Conversation Series
June 25 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Sunday, repeating until July 30, 2023
“Hospitality is a way of life fundamental to Christian identity.” – Christine Pohl
Join us Sundays this summer, after 10 AM worship, for teachings and conversations about Christian hospitality. From June 4-July 30, we will make our way through Christine Pohl’s book, Making Room: Recovering Hospitality as a Christian Tradition. Our weekly gatherings will be clergy-led followed by facilitated small group discussion as we journey from ancient to modern time, and consider challenges we face and gifts we receive when welcoming the stranger among us.
You are invited to pick up a copy of Making Room online, request it at your favorite local bookstore, or simply join us with an open mind and heart for weekly conversations about Christian hospitality. Come every Sunday or drop in when you are in town. You are always welcome and no preparation is required!
**In-person only.** Zoom is not possible due to the small-group discussion aspect of this series.
