After years of collaboration with the Equal Justice Initiative, as well as city and county leaders and numerous partnering organizations, Tallahassee’s Community Remembrance Project is proud to be dedicating a narrative marker that will help us remember and acknowledge past and present racial violence and injustice in our community. St. John’s Mother Abi Moon will open the dedication in prayer.
The marker dedication ceremony is open to all and will be held near the oak tree at the corner of East Gaines and South Meridian Streets. Afterwards, everyone is invited to a brief interfaith service at the Cascades Park Amphitheater. See the full program lineup below, and download the full list of partnering organizations which includes St. John’s Episcopal Church.
