The Good Friday liturgy serves as a commemoration of Jesus’ crucifixion. Central to the service is the veneration of the cross. The liturgy concludes with communion from reserved Sacrament (consecrated bread from Sunday’s Eucharist).
Attendance is limited to 25-percent capacity in the church. Masks are required on the St. John’s campus.
Signup is not necessary in advance at this time, however; if capacity is reached in the sanctuary you may be asked to view a simulcast version of the service in Alfriend Hall. At the appropriate time, a member of our clergy will visit that space to distribute Holy Communion.
This service will be livestreamed – visit our ONLINE WORSHIP page.
