UPDATE (July 23, 2021) – St. John’s is in the final stages of implementation of our church software upgrade. In the coming days, we will be sending email invitations out to parishioners from Realm inviting you to create your own online account. This personalized access will allow you to manage your personal information, view our church directory, and set up or edit online gifts. Our St. John’s staff is excited about this new tool for connection and we appreciate your patience and good cheer as we all learn about Realm together.
Exciting news! St. John’s is upgrading to a new church record keeping solution called Realm®. Our staff is beginning the rollout for this new system that will help us connect with each other! Over the next couple of weeks, you will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to log in.
If you previously accessed information through the My St. John’s portal or if you enjoyed pulling up directory information on your mobile device, you’ll be able to do all of that and much more! While Realm will serve the administrative needs of our St. John’s staff, it will also make it easier for our church family to connect with each other, keep up with what’s going on, and grow as a connected community of believers.
WHAT’S NEXT?
You don’t have to do anything until you receive the invitation from Realm (sample below)! Our staff is working to ensure current giving and membership information will transfer seamlessly. Everyone at St. John’s receives a unique profile, which contains information you want church members to know about you. Your profile also enables you to do things like RSVP to events, track your giving, update your contact information, set notification preferences, and more.
NOTE: As our staff completes the transition, access to church records through the “My St. John’s” member portal will be limited. In the meantime, we thank you for your generosity and welcome any gifts through our ONLINE OFFERTORY.
WE’RE HERE FOR YOU!
Once everyone has been switched over, we’re going to help you learn more about Realm. Save the date for a Coffee Talk forum on Sunday, August 1, either in person in Killeen Hall or online via Zoom! We’ll show you how to access the system on your desktop or laptop computer, or even on mobile devices like your phone or tablet.
If one-on-one assistance would be helpful, Membership Director Claire Dodd will be available at lunchtime from Tuesday, August 3 through Friday, August 6. Just B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) and we’ll get you squared away!
