Since 1999, St. John's has sent missionaries and support to Episcopal ministries in Cuba and, in particular, to our sister parish, San Pedro Apóstol, in the rural village of Zorrilla. St. John's adults and youth have participated in dozens of trips to Cuba and have helped San Pedro Apóstol acquire and convert a home into a consecrated church.

St. John’s believes that we experience God through relationships. While we can see God in our own context, we generate more fruit from sending Youth Ministry teams to Quito, Ecuador each summer, where we can seek and serve Christ in all persons. Each time we open our hearts to listening to a new culture we see a glimpse of God’s creation in a new and different way and bring that experience home to our local context.
