Christmas Eve at St. John’s

Jesus was born into this world so that each of us might know how deeply God loves us. Together, let’s share in the joy of the birth of Christ. All of the following take place on Christmas Eve.

CHRISTMAS EVE ONLINE WORSHIP

Our pre-recorded service initially premieres at noon but will be available all day on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This service is full of choral music and favorite Christmas hymns with trumpet accompaniment. Young voices from our Children’s Ministry retell the Christmas story and a special virtual anthem will join St. John’s Choir members with other talented singers from across the country. Have a real candle ready to sing Silent Night at home.

The limited seating at our three in-person services has been filled to capacity, but services will be live streamed so you can participate from home. Join Fr. Wallace (1 p.m.), Fr. Dave (4 p.m.), and Mtr. Abi (8 p.m.) for three unique Christmas homilies, plus a quartet and organ music sharing favorite Christmas hymns. Have a real candle ready to sing Silent Night at home.

Initially premiering at 11 p.m., this special service features the St. John’s Compline Choir of men singing Christmas hymns to end this holy night in worship. A beautiful way to close the day!
