St. John’s annual Growing in Grace series allows all seekers of the faith to come together and learn more about Christianity, the Episcopal Church, and how we are to live and grow in our faith.
Growing in Grace is a spiritual renewal course. It will mean something different to each individual. Some adults are seeking baptism, while others are seeking confirmation or reception (becoming part of the Episcopal Church), and many simply want to publicly reaffirm their faith.
Even if you’ve taken Growing in Grace before, consider joining us again, as this edition will be a unique experience (see schedule below).
Many of this year’s Growing in Grace gatherings are just for class participants and will feature talks by clergy and special guest speakers. A few classes overlap with Sunday morning Coffee Talk. Class members will be encouraged to participate in the larger group gathering, and then stay after for a deeper dive with the topic presenter and other Growing in Grace participants.
If you have questions about the confirmation process, contact Claire Dodd, membership director.
