When someone in our life dies, it affects our entire being. In fall 2021, St. John’s will offer “Walking the Mourner’s Path,” an eight-week grief support program that is grounded in prayer and reminds us that we are not alone in our grief.
If you have lost a loved one and have walked the path of grief over the past year or years, “Walking the Mourner’s Path” may be what you need. Open to both St. John’s members and the community alike, the program gathers participants for a series of small-group workshops. It’s different than a Sunday morning coffee talk, but the format allows time for being still together, sharing story and seeing where God is in our grief and in our hope.
This fall’s series of workshops will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM in St. John’s Killeen Hall. Gatherings begin on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, and will be held weekly through Wednesday, November 3, 2021. There is a $65 fee* to cover the cost of the workbook. Please register by September 14.
You will receive more information after you register, but please feel free to contact Mtr. Abi with additional questions or for more details.
*Please note, this cost should not prohibit you from attending. Scholarships are available as needed.
