Please join us in welcoming Deacons Mike Hall and Linda Liebert-Hall to St. John’s!
Mike and Linda, who have been married for 35 years, will begin serving alongside Deacon Joe after the first of the year, sharing in diaconal duties both during worship and beyond our church walls.
Deacons are typically non-stipendiary, and are either retired like Deacon Joe or maintain full-time secular work while ministering in their communities. Since 2007, Mike and Linda have served as deacons in liturgical, pastoral, and evangelistic ministries at Episcopal churches in North Dakota; Lecanto, FL; and Inverness, FL. Linda is also a retired attorney who owns a business consulting company and teaches online university courses. Mike’s position, as an Emergency Medical Services Administrator with the Florida Department of Health, is what brought the couple to Tallahassee. Fortunately they found their way to St. John’s! Please welcome Deacon Mike and Deacon Linda and keep them in your prayers as they prepare to join our team.
