Help us send Riley Elementary School students back to school with confidence! For many years, St. John’s has walked alongside our partners at Riley Elementary through mentoring, volunteerism, teacher appreciation, and more. This year, we’re continuing that commitment by helping students begin the school year equipped with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Every notebook, backpack, and box of crayons is a simple way to show our neighbors that they are seen, supported, and deeply valued.
You can help by purchasing school supplies and dropping them off at church by Wednesday, July 30. There will be a collection box in the Calhoun Street lobby near the church office.

All items collected will be provided to students at John G. Riley Elementary by coordinators from our “Lend a Hand” program, who will ensure the items are delivered before the start of the school year.
If you wish to make a monetary donation to the program instead, please do so by check, ATTN: Nancy Barfield (note “Riley” or “school supplies” in the memo line). You can also MAKE A DONATION ONLINE by selecting “pass thru” from the drop-down menu and indicating this is a “Riley/school supplies” donation.
